Recreations of the original English Bulldog

There are many different recreations of the old english bulldog registered under different names. The hope was always to create a healthier, fitter and more agile dog due to the KC English Bulldog being a shadow of its former self. They include the Renaissance Bulldog, Old English Bulldog, Dorset old Tyme Bulldog, Aylestone Bulldog, Old Time Bulldog, Victorian Bulldog, Old Victorian Bulldog, Mountain Bulldog and Medievel Bulldogges. Each breeder has used different breeds like the current English Bulldog, Staffordshire Bulll Terrier, American Bulldog, Pit Bull, Alano, Dogue de Bourdeaux and Bullmastiff to create their version of the original Bulldog.
