Yep, 2 of this litter will be going off to the same kennels as Bandit to do just that, work, they will be brought on to eventually face Sanglier (not to be confused with the chasing of nice piggies in a closed pen) rabbit, hare, fox and all else that is found in the backwoods of the Pays d'Aix.
This marriage on the fathers side has Charlie (no need for introductions) Harlem (well known to all in and around the south) Billy (legend in his own right, stories about my boy go on and on) Ch Spirestaff Jimmy Jazz (ask your english friends about this boys character) and not forgetting Ch Boldbull Blackjack, simply The Stafford, bringing so much to the table used over 100 times at stud.
The females side, Cali of KO, ask christophe about her, Nelly, enough said, Erics U'Tara top producing bitch a throwback in all senses, And her mother Rodney again very headstrong stable bitch of which like Billy stories can be told

Therefore this type of marriage is already reserved for working homes, all these dogs could thrive perfectly in domestic houses, yet with the natural drive and ability it is the breeders choice to select homes 'before' even considering the marriage.
Behind the village of Lambesc a good friend of mine is working on a line of staffords to use with his existing dogs because he is so pleased with Brodie of Knightwood Oak who is used on Truffles and rabbit, and Bandit who is used on Sanglier, so with the character and physique of the Knightwood Oak line we are working hand in hand to get back to basics, producing good, honest, rustic staffords

Have a look at the pedigree of my Billy, Ask Dave Green about how much of a handful Jimmy Jazz was, then ask Dean Cund about Boldbull Blackjack. Martin Grimwood of Stormstaff, Champion show judge always invited to judge the South Wales shows, where the real staffords are found , Ann Gatenby's bitches, fire-eaters the real deal all of 'em, and then ask Jamie Mace about what he got up to with his Janastaff the Untouchable. Go back to Janastaffs sire, Tony Gareffa's Ch Ensbury's little lad, 'jack' a dog i had the pleasure to be around, again the real deal seen in all sorts of circumstances. Mick Clarkes dogs 'Boldmore' not just show dogs but real 100% solid staffords of the real character ond temperment. All these ancetors of my 'line' where all 100% stafford, no diluted watered down versions that we see today. Ask your english/dutch contacts about these dogs and their owners, the people who have really been in the breed long enough will know of and respect the work nurtured and passed on by 'real' breeders, the real passionate owners who put the stafford first, beyond fashion, mode etc. It was a belle epoque.....
I am currently writing an article for the Downlands SBT Club of which i've been a member since 1990, i will post it on here to give an insight to the real dogs and people in and behind the staffie of the last 40 years, will make for interesting reading
